Change my password

Hazardous Waste Tracking System (HWTS) allows for easy modification of your password by clicking on the "Change Password" link.

Special Notes about changing your password:
• Your new password must be between five and ten characters.
• It must be a different password from your previous one.
• For greater security, use a combination of numbers and letters.
• "New password" and "Confirm Password" must match.
• To update your user information (name, email, contact information), please contact the System Administrator at hwtsadmn@dtsc.ca.gov.

Steps to change your password:

1. Log into HWTS using the Login page.
2. Type your new password in the "New Password" field and then repeat the same password in the "Confirm Password" field.
3. Then either press ENTER or click on the "Change" button.
4. The page should reload and present a bulleted item informing you of a successful password change.
