Security
A special role called "System Administrator" is analogous to the "Super User" of the system. The System Administrator can create/modify user login profiles, inactivate user accounts as well as assign users to specific role(s). Creation and Modification of roles, menu items and reports is restricted only for the System Administrators.
There can be more than one system administrator for the system.
However, there are some special roles, which allow some users to perform additional tasks:
The special roles are:

| DTSC Technician with Corrections | Can correct manifests (including Exports and Imports) |
| Work Queue Administrator |
This role can do all the functions of a Work Queue Technician role along with some additional functions:

Purging
Only the following two special roles allow purging of Facility records and Transporter records respectively.
