Reports – Search For a Company / Facility

Hazardous Waste Tracking System (HWTS) Report uses this search form to allow you to search for company names by facility, owner, or operator.

You can search for a company by filling in some or all of this form. You must fill in at least one search criteria.

Entity Type: You may only search by one entity type at a time. Your choices are: Facility Name, Owner and Operator Contact. Your default choice is Facility.

Name Contains: HWTS will search both sides of your name in a wild card fashion. For instance if you type in "ACME" for the Name Contains field and select Facility, HWTS will return both "ACME Holding" and "Ace ACME Facility."

Search on: HWTS allows you to search by one of the following: Physical Address, Mailing Address, Owner Address, or Operator Contact Address. Physical Address is the default.

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Identification (ID) Number: Use this feature to search for an exact (equals to) or a partial (begins with or contains) EPA ID Number.

Standard Industrial Codes (SIC Code): You can search by SIC Code. All SIC Codes will be converted to North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS).

Exclude ID's: You can choose to include certain EPA ID types. For an explanation of the ID prefixes, click on the ID Number Descriptions link located above the selections. (You may choose any combination of IDs).

Sorting: You can choose two sort options (Primary and Secondary) and if you want the results to be in Ascending or Descending order.

To Search for a Company Name:

1. Enter in one or more criteria.
2. Double check the Facility Type and Primary Address drop down choices.
3. Click on "Find" when ready. Please note the system returns only the first 2000 results.
